Vice President, Revenue Cycle Performance and Partnerships

Position Summary:

The VP of Revenue Cycle - Performance & Partnerships will develop and execute the strategic vision for Revenue Cycle with a focus on health system partnership and optimization. Challenge assumptions to improve Revenue Cycle key performance indicators (KPIs), overall operational effectiveness, and service to our customers. Serve as the primary strategic business partnership for all of our health system partners and proactively build effective relationships with our partner’s revenue cycle, information technology (IT), and other related functions to drive partner accountability on critical areas including enrollment, credentialing, cash reconciliation, and other key areas. Develop and deliver appropriate data reporting mechanisms and present research and findings at each joint venture board meeting. Provide leadership and oversight of key operational and financial decisions pertaining to all underlying functions. Collaborate with our internal Finance team to improve financial reporting that ensures proactive implementation and execution of Recycle Cycle optimization initiatives.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field is required.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, consulting, and/or project management is required.
  • Seven (7) years of leadership experience is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for Revenue Cycle with a focus on health system partnership and optimization.
  • Serve as the primary strategic business partnership for all of our health system partners and proactively build effective relationships with our partner’s revenue cycle, information technology (IT), and other related functions.
  • Drive partner accountability on critical areas with each healthy system including enrollment, credentialing, cash reconciliation, and other key areas.
  • Challenge assumptions to improve Revenue Cycle key performance indicators (KPIs), overall operational effectiveness, and service to our customers.
  • Develop and deliver appropriate data reporting mechanisms and present research and findings at each joint venture board meeting.
  • Prepare joint venture board material to guide conversation and align on key decision points with each partnership.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of key operational and financial decisions pertaining to all underlying functions within Revenue Cycle.
  • Collaborate with our internal Finance team to improve financial reporting that ensures proactive implementation and execution of Recycle Cycle optimization initiatives.
  • Develop internal talent to elevate performance and improve team member engagement.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
