Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem

Position Summary:

GoHealth Urgent Care, one of the fastest growing urgent care networks, and Novant Health, one of the nation’s 150 best places to work in healthcare, have partnered to create a substantial network of urgent care centers throughout North Carolina. The partnership will provide patients in North Carolina with greater access to innovative urgent care through state-of-the-art technology and unique patient access tools unique patient access tools such as online registration and appointment scheduling.

We are seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Family Practice / Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners with adult & pediatric experience for per diem positions in our centers opening early in 2019 in the Charlotte area.

Our Advanced Practitioners provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. Functioning in lieu of or alongside a physician, it is essential for our Advanced Practitioners to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.

Our state-of-the-art centers are modern, patient-friendly and equipped with imaging, labs and an advanced EMR system. Qualifications

  • 1-2 years NP/PA experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required
  • Experience treating adult and pediatric patient populations (all ages) required
