Position Summary:

GoHealth Urgent Care, one of the nation's fastest-growing urgent care networks, is seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Advanced Practitioners (PA/NP) for a 2018 New Graduate Jumpstart Program for its centers in the Portland, OR metro area.

  • This is a 12-week PAID training program that will teach the skills you need to work in an urgent care setting
  • Full Time (permanent) offers may be made upon completion of the program
  • July 31st Start Date with some flexibility depending on graduation / exam date(s)

Urgent Care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. Functioning in lieu of or alongside a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioners to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.

Qualifications

  • 2018 Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Demonstrated desire to pursue a career in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
