Position Description

Reporting to the Sr. Director Marketing, the Marketing Specialist {REGION} works locally to plan and execute marketing programs to meet goals, including new center opening efforts,  community development and outreach, and partners within the central Marketing team to analyze, document and present business outcomes across channels. The Marketing Specialist {REGION} is the local on-the-ground expert for Marketing and helps adapt the GoHealth Urgent care winning model, to succeed locally. He/She helps identify trends and optimize community and center-based efforts and performance based on insights. He/She executes all day to day marketing for all local centers.

Candidate Responsibilities

The Marketing Specialist works with a number of stakeholders in the company – in particular with center level experts on volume driving initiatives Key activities and responsibilities on the job include:

  • Provide feedback based on market and center level insights, and be a key stakeholder in the design of marketing plans to influence the mix of demand generation and demand capture based on market insights.
  • Deploy programs against volume targets and drive volume at the center level: Execute marketing playbooks, with guidance and acceptance from channel leads, at the local level.
  • Source new and innovative marketing opportunities founded with insight at the market/center level.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on market competitive landscape to determine where our brand is positioned over time.
  • Foster close working relationship with market operations and clinical team members, building trust and authority in marketing.
  • Align with health system counterpart for regular knowledge sharing and collaboration to drive business forward; brief larger marketing team.
  • Be responsible for reviews/approvals of assets/executions by health system, operations/clinical.
  • Execute a proactive feedback loop between marketing and operations teams.
  • Support Operations by developing assets for collateral, phone recordings, signage, web content and other need, in partnership with the central marketing team; be the marketing liaison.
  • Be the source of insight behind the numbers in terms of volume, answering questions for the larger marketing team: what operationally impacted volume up/down for a given period? What is culturally relevant in the community for each center? What is seasonally relevant at the community level? What is our competition doing and how does it impact us?
  • Serve as a community liaison, championing GHUC as a local member of each center community through management of partnerships, events, sponsorships, etc. that are relevant to our target and geography.
  • Ideate and create social media content that drives localization and integration with our health system partners, working with creative and organic social media agency.
  • Own quality and accuracy of local/regional web pages and content through quality assurance and ongoing content management.
  • Be responsible for moderation and management of public customer reviews and feedback, in partnership with reputation agency, including ensuring all reviews are responded to, escalated internally as needed and the larger organization is informed about trends.
  • Be the “alarm” - know you center volume in real time to be able to activate the marketing team at any given time or challenge.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications

  • 2 years in a marketing, agency, or similar role with demonstrated success
  • Local marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience using social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, others) for business, a must
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary – with an outgoing nature that rapidly builds cross functional relationships
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment, displaying high degree of flexibility
  • Proven excellence in managing projects from beginning to end, and in using Excel, Words and PowerPoint as well as SharePoint for team coordination
