Position Summary:

GoHealth Urgent Care operates urgent care centers in the New York, Portland, OR, San Francisco, CA and now Hartford, CT metropolitan areas, with plans for additional expansion in multiple markets.

The GoHealth Urgent Care Provider Coordinator will be responsible for various administrative duties surrounding the support of our physicians, physician assistants, and clinical leadership team. You will provide high-level administrative and coordination support to the Medical Director and clinical leadership team. 

Responsibilities range from provider scheduling, coordination of meetings and training sessions, creating and sending correspondence and other administrative support. Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with clinical team members and leaders at all levels in person and on the telephone.

Provider Coordinator job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Collecting documentation from providers for the purposes of credentialing them with insurance companies and our health system partners.
  • Coordinating quarterly provider meetings and taking minutes at those meetings.
  • Coordinating provider quality and coding audits.
  • Scheduling provider feedback sessions.
  • Assisting the medical director and GoHealth Operations team on clinical quality projects.
Education
 
  • High School or better required.
